A new national research infrastructure initiative FIN-CLARIAH for humanities and social sciences has got funding from the Academy of Finland for 2022-2023.
The role of the Aalto University and SeCo Research Group in FIN-CLARIAH is related to developing and maintaining the national Linked Open Data infrastructure for Digital Humanities (LODI4DH)
A new “Sampo” application, “WarMemoirSampo” (Sotamuistosampo in Finnish), based on a memoir video collection of Second World War veterans, was published on December 3, 2021, at the National Archives of Finland:

Funded by the Finnish veteran organization Tammenlehvän Perinneliitto ry, this new service commemorates the 104th independence day of Finland.
