In March 2005, SeCo research group moved to the Otaniemi campus of the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Media Technology. We are now located at the TUAS building.

Two SeCo papers and a poster will be presented at the 3rd International Semantic Web Conference ISWC 2004 in Hiroshima, Japan.

Three SeCo papers were presented at the 16th European Conference on Artifical Intelligence ECAI 2004 in Valencia, Spain, August, 2004.

SeCo organizes the Web Intelligence Symposium together with the Finnish AI Society, W3C Finnish Office, XML Finland Society, and national Tekes Fenix R&D programme.

Nodem (Nordic Digital Excellence in Museums) jury nominated “Museum Finland – Finnish Museums on the Semantic Web” for the Nodem 2004 Award in the Web based / Virtual category. Nominated projects were presented at Nodem 2004.

SeCo presented several papers at the World Wide Web Conference WWW 2004, New York, May 17 – 22, 2004, USA.

SeCo presented an industrial research paper and demonstrate the semantic portal MuseumFinland at the First European Semantic Web Symposium ESWS 2004, Heraklion, Greece, May 10 – 12, 2004.

MuseumFinland was presented internationally at the Museums and Web Conference (MW 2004), March 31 – April 1, 2004, Arlington, USA.
